Learn About The Data Analytics Program
This tutoring program provides participants with an immersive learning experience in data analytics. Through a combination of live learning sessions, hands-on assignments, and a capstone project, participants will gain practical skills in data analysis and develop the mindset of a data professional. Topics covered include data analytics fundamentals, tools and technologies, project-based learning, and engaging in learning communities.

Data and analytics (D&A) refers to the ways organizations manage data to support all its uses, and analyze data to improve decisions, business processes and outcomes, such as discovering new business risks, challenges and opportunities.

Personal Background: Raised in College Park, Georgia, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State University. I enjoy watching/playing sports, playing chess, and relaxing with family.
How’d I Get Into Working with Data? I always found myself to be good with math and I enjoyed analyzing processes so began my career working as a business office professional. I became interested in automating budget reports, forecasting revenues, and finding data insights so decided to pursue a Data Science Certification from Trilogy education at Northwestern University.
Teaching Style: I like to allow students to take ownership of their learning by using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work towards solutions.My goal is to empower students to become self-directed learners.

Personal Scoop: Hailing from the vibrant New Orleans, LA, armed with a BA in International Studies and a dash of Social Work know-how from Baylor University. I'm all about savoring local delights on my travel escapades, diving deep into cities like a true local.
Journey to Data World: With a heart that beats for "stats and facts," I snagged a Data Science certification to amp up my passion for the public good. My mission? To always steer the ship of decisions with the compass of data.
